ASU!!!!!!! I am an official Sun Devil!

Ok so this post is a little late but I've been a little busy :)

I have been in school now for 2 weeks and I love it!! I have class everyday but I normally get out before noon so its ok.

Last week I auditioned for ASU's Women's Chorus and made it! I am a 2nd soprano in the Choir!! We perform a couple times a semester and I can take the class as many times as I want! yay

Also, work is going great I got trained in the concession stand on tuesday and am now officially Concession Trained.. :)

As of right now I have all A's in my classes :) Most of my homework is turned in online and we normally have a week to do most of it.

(I've just noticed that this post is a little ADD..lol Ohh well)

I am an official member of Hope Christian Church and am planning on becoming baptized soon!! I love it there, I have met so many new people and I am learning so much that I didn't know or fully understand. I feel like I am growing in my faith by leaps and bounds by the great leaders and ministers in my church.

This week we started Ultimate Frisbee for Hope.. Mondays at 7:00.. it was super fun!!

As you can tell this semester is starting off great!! I am involved in alot of things and it is really great to be around such great people!! I will definitely post pictures of any more events and especially BAPTISM!!

LOTS OF AWESOME STUFF TO CATCH UP ON

Ok so tons of stuff to catch up on. I havent been updated as well as I should be.

First off, I AM OFFICAL AT ASU!!!! Wooo it only took them a month longer than it should've. I am registering for classes tomorrow, getting books on thursday, and apartment stuff on friday.

(speaking of apartments...)
Secondly, I am moving into the campus apartments called Vista del Sol. It is a beautiful facility and I will be staying with 3 other girls and sharing a room with only one. If you want to see pictures of the place go to vistadelsol.com you will be AMAZED!!

Third, I GOT A JOB!!! I am now an official "team member" at Harkins Theatres in the Tempe Marketplace. I will be working mostly nights and weekends and I start on saturday from 12p-9p, so its going to be a very long day. It will be fun though I'm sure!!

Hmm.. that might actually be all for now. 3 great things happened since my last post which is very exciting. I'll try to update soon with pictures of school and my new apartment!!!

NEW YEAR!! NEW START!! NEW FRIENDS!!

For New Year's Eve I went to a party with some of the girls and guys I met at church this past sunday. They were so awesome and invited me and we had so much fun!!

The girls who hosted it had such a great spread of food for us!! We played games, had a fun little dance party thing.. lol and rung in the new year with some great sparkling cider :)

I met great people and had so much fun!! I can't wait until sunday at church to hang out with them again.

Speaking of church on sunday: This sunday is another "Open Mic" sunday and I will hear alot of great testimonies from amazing people, I am very excited!! Hope Christian is going to be so good for me in this new year!!

*Now all I need is to get a job and registered for school and I will be set :)*

HOPE CHRISTIAN CHURCH!!

Sunday I decided to try Hope Christian Church right on the campus of ASU. When I got there everyone was so inviting and they have a wonderful band!! Sunday was "Open Mic" day where the students/alumni/attendants could say what God had done for them or helped the through in the past year; kinda like testimonials!! They were great!! I loved hearing about all the wonderful things that were happening in these peoples lives. It just shows how great God can be!! I have decided that this is the church for me and will be going there from now on :)

While I was at church I met some very awesome people who invited me to a new years eve party!! It was so nice of them to include me!! I am most likely going and we're going to have a blast hanging out and eating food thats probably bad for us and ringing in the new year :)


As for updates on my job: Nothing new really, I have been denied to some places only because they have no positions to offer me. Hopefully something will turn up soon so that I can have a job set before school starts (Jan 19th)

I'm Official in Arizona now!!!

I am official as far as Arizona goes now!!! I have my license, new number, registration, new plates. All I have left to do now is to get accepted to ASU!!! This should be done in 2 weeks.!!

The next major thing on my list is to find a job near school and a church near school. For Christmas eve we went to CENTRAL CHRISTIAN, which was an awesome church but it would be kinda far from my school. Sunday I am going to visit HOPE CHRISTIAN right on the ASU campus. I am very excited about that.

I have been diligently applying to jobs near school. About 10 so far. My goal is to have interviews next week. So lets hope that I'm busy with interviews next week that way I can start after the first of the year.

UNPACKING, ERRANDS, ETC.

Well instead of packing away my day I have been unpacking away my days. I have gotten through alot of boxes but I have lots of clothes to put away.
So far in 2 days I have gotten my new license, new checking account, new phone number (btw if you need it just email me: adamazio@kent.edu), and tomorrow I am getting my new plates and registration.

This week has been very productive so far!

Things to come:

I am searching for a job already just to see what I get offered before school starts. I'm assuming it won't be much yet because of the holidays but it doesn't hurt to look. I'll keep updates about that.

I Said "See Ya Later" to My Car Today

I am taking the major steps to get out to Arizona!!! My car got picked up at 5 today. No car all weekend but I should be ok.. I really need relaxation after crazy FINALS WEEK. My car should be in AZ by monday or tuesday!!

My room is so empty here but I know its going to be jam packed when I get out there.. craziness!!!

I've been doing alot of lasts lately (last speech practice, last band practice,etc) and its kinda bringing me down but I'm so excited to start over.

Anything new happens I'll let you know if not.. my next post will be from ARIZONA!!!
